I used illumine many times to color my hair various colors. every time I used the return, I had to use it multiple seconds to remove the demon out of my hair, but it worked fine in the end. ❤

After you squeeze out Elumen Return, do you dry the hair or re-apply Return immediately? Does the color fade at all, after I have applied Return three times on one day? My problem is, that I have used violet on my blonde hair about 2 months ago, and now I am trying to get it lighter, so I can change my hair color for something that fits better for my skin tone. My hair was dyed only once, and I haven't added any color on them since, yet the color is really stuck.

Elumen is not a try-on colour. It is the most permanent hair Color. It lives up to its promise to last. Between Return applications no shampoo necessary. It saves time. You can use heat just cover your hair with a plastic bag. Eventually it will come off enough for you to go back to blond. Just don’t prelighten it until you have mostly blond hair. Good luck!

You can use Return as many times as your scalp feels ok...

@@roroh3848 Thank you :) I have now used Return on my hair three times (today). In the last removal some color still left from my hair, so I guess Return still has some effect on my hair. I will continue this process tomorrow. Thank you for the help!

Heiho, Thank you for this really good video! I have my hairdresser appointment next week to get back to a "normal haircolor", as I now dyed my hair vor 1,5 year purple with elumen. and to "help" my hairdresser to maybe dye my hair dark brown or sth, I want to try to get as much color out as possible with Elumen Return... How do I do the heat-thing at home? I read on some pages, that people used a plastic back over the hair + a beany hat to get a little warmth ... and let it in the hair for at least 4 to 6 hours. But the 15 minute steps sounds also really good!

Question: I have Purple and pink Elumen Play in my hair and have had it in my naturally dark hair for a couple years. I’m ready to go back to dark brown/black. I bought Elumen return and some new dark hair dye to apply over it after. Will this work or am I missing key steps?

Hi!! For Elumen Play you don’t need Return. There is a product specific for Elumen play and it’s mixed with developer. You should have a problem removing it.. You also don’t need to remove completely in order to go darker. Just remove as much as you can and color it back dark… in many situations you don’t need to remove it at all… I don’t know exactly your hair… but it shouldn’t be a problem

It worked! I only let the Elumen black sit for about 20 minutes before I washed it out. It left a few dark pink/purple strands thought but it actually flows nicely. Thank you for your help!!!

What is your opinion on using return more than three times? It's the official maximum of times, but what is your take on this? Pros and cons?
@roroh3848

Technically after 3 times if it’s not out I don’t think another application in the same day would work anymore because the hair has been wet and saturated for too long, it gets tired and so will you!. I usually don’t shampoo between Return applications, I just squeeze it out really well and reapply. Saves lots of time, and scalp sensitivity from shampooing so much.

izuru suwito yes very different. Elumen play is a semipermanent Color and it’s not utilized the same as Elumen procedure wise, results or durability.

Hello… I am sorry for a late reply…. Have no idea why I didn’t get the notification…. When you want to remove or reduce Elumen deposit… I suggest a normal mixture of silk lift 35 ml developer usually 10 or 20 vol to one scoop of lightener. To that you can add up to 30ml of Return… it will be a runny formula but you can add thickener to it to be able to control the consistency for a brush application. Saturate and check the process until desired results are achieved.
