Great video. Can you use Tearmender to safely remove glue from the blade as well?
@dfy

No. Just rub the glue off the blade with your thumbs - I’ll make a video on that

Will it splint the blade ply after removing peeling. Is it safer for blade ?? Thanks
@dfy
Жыл бұрын
It’s possible for the glue to take pieces of the ply with it yes, but overall safe - consider it “wear and tear” on your equipment, it’s normal

This shows perfectly, why an alternative way would be useful: use a glue stick to assemble your racket! kzitem.info/news/bejne/pHmEu6OgcGiXgW0 kzitem.info/news/bejne/uaFm2alqbqV9lW0

Try this with a soft rubber and half the sponge will come off too. It's a good way to destroy rubbers. It won't work with anything softer that a g1 or t05. And of course rubbers like the t05 have very sensitive cake sponges that rip appart like it's nothing. Then again, this would work very well on hard and dense rubbers, like the h3.

Tried this and worked for the most part except the glue came out with some sponge so had some annoying dents in the sponge. Wonder if it would have been better to just leave the glue there and add another coating to stick it instead of removing the old glue

这个方法是错误的,上一点膨胀油就可以轻松除胶,你这样容易把海绵撕出坑来

@@PavloRizanenko it is called booster, which is used commonly in the Chinese style hard sponges like the Hurricane 3. BTW, I don't think it helps with removing the old glue.
