In this video, I show you how to remove your front loader on your tractor and then put it back on. I will be using an LS Tractor however this will apply to many tractor brands on the market. I recently started removing my front loader from my tractor because I needed more clearance on a few Tilling jobs that I had to do in town. Now that I have taken it off, I realize how easy it is to do. I looked up the spec on my tractor loading arms and they are over 700 pounds and that’s not including the bucket that I’m sure is several hundred pounds. So not only do you reduce the weight of your tractor but you also reduce the footprint to navigate tighter spaces. I’ve noticed when my loader is on my tractor, when traveling at faster speeds, my tractor loading arms shake very hard on bumps. This no doubt causes more wear and tear that I don't want. I highly recommend removing your loader arms on your tractor if you are not going to be using it for any extended period of time. Now that I know how easy it is, I definitely will be doing more often. Another good thing to think about is if your tractor needed servicing. I’m sure that the dealer or mechanic that will be working on your tractor would greatly appreciate those big heavy loader arms moved out of the way.
