Drawers, along with the dresser top, will take the most abuse over the life of the piece. If you decide to repair and refinish vintage furniture, there is no doubt you will run into issues that will require a little additional TLC. The good news is that drawer repair is a fairly simple process. With a few simple tools and the techniques from this video, you can learn how to repair your vintage dresser drawer.
The most common issue that I have come across is the dovetail joints becoming loose and or coming apart. In this video, I demonstrate how to effectively re-glue and repair the joint.
