*** Rotating Drive
How To repair a working RAID 1 array on Dell T610 PERC6i when one drive
is missing.
This procedure shows how to reintroduce a drive to repair the array.
This sequence used a previously used drive, into a system with PERC.
This is a reference video on a Dell T610 with PERC6i
It is useful after removing a drive for a backup [whilst shutdown].
Prior to power up one disk has been removed from the PC
*** Run Config Utility
Catch the boot sequence, and Run Configuration Utilty for PowerEdge Expandable RAID Controller
When rebooting PERC reported: 1 Drive Degraded, because the configuration used here was for two drives RAID1 and so far only one is installed.
But this can be ignored and the Server will try to boot on the installed disk.
*** PERC Inspect Status
PERC Introduction

the rebuild will continue
*Use 'Esc' to exit *OK to confirm exit *Followed by the usual process to reboot
*** Disk LED status
