Fuelmiser PCV Valve for Mitsubishi Magna TE TF TH TJ TL TW 3.0L 3.5L V6 Did you ever change the pcv valve as well. I'm told when it clogs it causes oil to force into the dizzy.

Hey mate I'm just wondering how I would go about removing the rotor blade so I can replace it? Cheers

Hi Gerald, the distributor cap from memory is removed by way of a few philip head screws which will the expose the rotor button that is simply pulled off. There should be a notch to indicate that the new one can only be installed one way.

i'm a bit confused, you dont have to find top dead centre on cyl 1? dont need to do any marking (besides numbering the leads)? im just scared of messing up the timing, it looks like an easy job but if there's a chance to easily mess up the timing i dont wanna touch it manual says '1. Turn the crankshaft so that the No. 1 cylinder is at top dead centre. 2. Align the distributor housing and gear mating marks and install the distributor.'

Everything should go back on the way it was removed, with the exception of the leads which need to be marked (though with the uneven lengths it could be worked out which ones go where…eventually). I’d suggest however noting which way the rotor button was attached and facing and ensure that you do not start the car until it’s all back together.

@@billymasonpi yea that's what I was thinking cos the locator slots can only go in one way it looks like. so it would be the same procedure if installing a new/second hand dizzy, cant really mess it up. i appreciate you making these videos it helps a lot

Hi mate any tips on removing the nuts, got the first top left and second top right is solid. Can’t get leverage and seems very seized on no movement .

Hi Barry, with the distributor cap removed there should be plenty of access and leverage to remove the nuts. What are you using, an socket with extension? Have you tried any lubricating spray?

Hey Billy do you know where I can get the large seal from or the part number? Shown at 7.40 mins in your video.

Hi Darrel, from my search it unfortunately doesn’t look like the gasket seal is sold separately, but rather only comes included with a distributor cap.

Hi Willem, I can't think of anything that could be preventing it from reseating if you've got everything lined up. Your comment was a few days ago - any luck since?
