So I see you didn't torque the caliper brackets when you were done. Does anyone know what the correct torque is for these two 11mm hex bolts?

All you need to do is use some pliers on the clip squeeze and pop on and off

You're doing the brake work with the XC90 supported by the factory scissor jack only?

Thera is another red floor jack right beside the scissor jack. I agree with you heavy car like this should be used on a car lift.

What size socket is needed to remove the caliper? TIA

Its a 11mm hex... on 2017's+ You might be able to get it out with a 10mm, but it might risk stripping.

Sorry I don’t have the box anymore. So don’t know . I should have put it in when I was replacing it. Now I’m using after market pads and rotors. Which a fraction of the original and its working very well.

Pretty sure that's suppose to be a 11mm hex, not a T55

@@nicholash8021 it is a 11mm Hex! T55 will either be destroyed or worse destroy your (slider pins) caliper bolts... Use vice-grip pliers to compress the clip on the front of the caliper to remove it, not a large file, you'll shoot your eye out! Don't pound off the caliper with a hammer, use a large flathead screwdriver to push the piston, it will then ease off. Clean it all, use caliper grease... and know that the auto braking system for the rear breaks is far more complex, be certain you know what you are doing before you tackle that one!

Yes, 11mm hex drive (not a socket) if you can find one. Alternatively, you can use a 7/16" hex drive, as they're more common. I went to 5 auto parts/hardware stores before I found the 7/16" hex drive, worked perfectly.
