Hey good video, a tip use WD40 works great on radiator hoses ends to allow easy installation on steel and plastic. Sorry been a mechanic auto, diesel, and commercial aircraft over 40 plus years and spring clamps suck. It's not used much anywhere else. As it's just a auto industry trying to sell you more tools. All you do is get the motor to operating temperature and recheck the hoses clamps as you should be rechecking the hoses anyway for leaks, so simple recheck of the clamps is nothing extra to do. Take care

@@2carpros update: today I replaced water inlet pipe that this hose is attached to. I'm not mechanically inclined but watching this video again I had so much confidence that if I had enough tools I think I'd be able to swap an engine if I'd seen it done at least once... Very helpful vide indeed and encouraging to do something with your own hands

Great video! If I do this to the radiator hose and replace them, do I have to do a flush to the radiator or car?

I'm curious about your choice of coolant in the video. I was wondering if an '08 3.3L uses a different spec than G-05. I was told if I used other than G-05 in my '03 3.3L coolant system it could damage the system. Similarly, I was told that an '03 Chevrolet has the "orange" coolant because using green or run of the mill ethylene glycol a/f it can "destroy" the coolant components. So my garage is stocked(not too heavily) with the recommended coolants, for my '03 Caravan and '03 Cavalier.....nothing yet for my newly acquired '01 Eclipse.
