This video shows you how to install a new TRQ rear driver side parking brake cable on your 1998-2011 Ford Ranger. The parking brake cable connects the parking brake system in the rear to the handle or pedal that sets and releases the brake in the front. If the cable is broken, seized, rusty, or otherwise damaged, you will need to replace it to keep the parking brake working safely.
