Great job as it was very interesting watching you replace the rear Dodge Dart shocks.

Glad I got the KYB shocks that have that rubber boot at the top; no need to remove that boot and reuse it on the new shock! This is a good video, thanks for posting it for all to see. That KYB shock is part #3410080 if that helps anyone.

Does it squeak if it needs new shocks ?

It mainly will be bouncy on rough roads, but it could cause squeaking as well. You may also notice unusual wear pattern on the tires. Thank you for the question.

@@s33therfan I hear slight squeaking at low speeds coming from the front. Not sure if thats just due to it being ten years old or something else. Don’t want the mechanic to charge me $200 for a diagnosis if nothing has happened the last few years it’s been happening.

If the brake pads and rotors are in good condition , then it may just be the brake pad material type. I only use ceramic pads. I am only guessing here . Another possibility is the dust shield making slight contact with the rotor. I have seen several times where even a small pebble can become lodged and make noise even when everything is perfectly fine. So it may be a moving part , unless it only occurs while bouncing , then it could be the shocks or control arms. I have another video about the control arms in my Dart playlist if youd like to check that out. Anyways I appreciate your question and keep us updated , thank you.
