Does That timing pulley you removed, effect the timing at all?

you should've made an tutorial on how to remove crank shaft cause the nuts on mine are stripped as well

My boss loves quoting identifix and how much time a job requires...he argues with me all the time ,and today it was this exact same engine ,same job....he said well identifix said it doesn't require hardly any time at all to do, and you don't have to remove the timing belt or anything....WRONG....I'm doing the job the same way you are...he really irritates me with his labor guide, and hired me to do the work....he looked up the wrong engine model this being a mk3....but he's never wrong and is a legend in his own mind....he's about to lose another good mechanic because of the labor guides that seem to be timed on the assembly line not taking into account years of rust,heat and old bolts that most likely have been removed and installed time and again over20 years...they seize up,strip and just weaken.....how do the labor guides account for this???It's the mechanics fault of course, since the mechanic designed the car and put 250,000 miles on it....labor guides and service manuals are excellent sources of information but if you have a good mechanic don't micromanage him into extinction
