I love the idea of a MINIMUM weekly reset! I often try to go overboard when trying to reset and then feel bad when I don’t get to them all. There are only just a few key things that actually need to get done though!

One thing I am doing this year to refresh is going through all my youtube/pocketcasts/amazon/kindle wishlists, TBR lists, and "watch later" lists. My goal is to get rid of forgotten things that I don't see myself going back to. Especially my KZitem watch later list is a disaster.

Ooo! Going through the kindle wish list is a great idea! I normally check myself when one of my books goes on sale, but some books never go on sale and I don’t even notice them anymore. Fixing that now! Thank you!

when clearing out my KZitem subscription, I always always keep you on my page. You give me a positive light and feeling. I always come back to your channel when im in a rough spot. recent events just ruined me, and made me think about myself. after the broken friendship I still felt hurt but its been weeks and im feeling better little by little after taking a break from social media and just removing the people from my view. ANYWAYS im on this journey to really enjoy my life and enjoy them with the people who are truly in my life.

I give myself yearly goals and then break the goals down into quarters. Especially with projects or chores around the house. I know I don't want to rip out the carpet in the winter time, so I plan a time in the summer when I can do that. I type up my goals for each quarter and add them with my monthly goal list. That way some of those bigger project goals do not get forgotten with the smaller things I typically accomplish in a month. At the end of the quarter I re-evaluate and see if that goal needs to be moved to the next quarter or maybe even next year.

I think one of the most important things is to change what’s not working, instead of just changing something to change it. For example, I used to use Google Calendar for everything. But then, I started trying to being on my phone less, plus my phone notifications were overwhelming to where I just ignored them. I’ve switched to a physical system and it is currently working for me.

I just transitioned to weekly tasks a couple of weeks ago and it’s amazing! I used to track my time and plan my days in detail. However, life changed, so I had to change. My goal is to get back to daily planning, but for now I’m happy with the weekly list.

Thank you for the video! :) I am doing a weekly review every week and it's my bare minimum. Everything else is extra, but usually I do something more, like I clean my desk and plan my week if I can (or leave that to Monday). :)

I love what you said about simplifying your weekly reset. I created one about 6 months ago and it was working great at first because it reminded me of all the things I needed to do, but recently it's been a struggle. I'm going to start focusing on just the important things. Thanks!

I’m confused by getting rid of notbooks if you don’t use them…. They are notebooks… if i don’t use them within the year or whatever then I’ll just use them after I use up the ones I am using… they don’t expire… if I get rid of them I’m just going to have to replace them by buying more. I’ve got plenty of things to declutter other than notebooks and if notebooks are my biggest clutter problem… I don’t have a clutter problem.

I think one tip that is in another of your videos but didn't make it to this one and is a larger thing that can help with staying on track: work on exiting the space of malignant shame. That rude little voice in the back of our heads when we miss one of these is from that space in our minds. Helps a lot to get that mental block out before trying to do any more strenuous mental task.
