Hi Darja, thank you for another great video :) Could you tell me what would be the best reaction as a Scrum Master in a DEMO session with the PO where two members of the team suddenly start arguing right in front of the client and blaming each other for some bug?😀

Intervene to stop the arguing and defer it to another time. Something along the lines of "I don't think that this discussion should be happening here. Let's meet afterwards to look into this further. But for now, let's stay on track with our Sprint Review agenda". You can also take a 5-minute break in a really bad case. Or even ask the instigator to leave the meeting (if you have no other choice).

Hi Daria, great video, as usual. I think that I'm a sort of pacificator, because I like peace, so I like to make it happen. I don't know if I do that in the best possible way, but I try. Can this be a sort of conflict management? Bye!

I don't know if you are subscribed to my newsletter as I shared some extra thoughts on this. I think that sometimes you need to "mine for conflict" as it's called. Every great team needs conflict, avoiding it completely is not good either.

Through a team agreements discussion, I think. It's best to discuss with the team members directly - what to do when there is a disagreement, who has the final word, how do they want to approach confrontations, how do they want to let others know there is a conflict brewing, etc. I have a conflict profiling workshop somewhere in my pile of texts I haven't organized in years 😅 I may bring it back to life
