Good video buddy. Final step for restoring would be a good clear coat to give it that like new shine. However you need to prep the plastic and use a proper clear or it won't stick if you pressure wash it.

I have seen people do this with a small propane torch as well

Yes but you have to be way more cautious and you can't focus time and energy on small spots the better method is a heat gun that allows you to control the path a lot better

Yeah man you got to be really careful with a blowtorch I prefer the heat gun method cuz it allows you more time to focus on certain areas without burning them

Somebody knows how to do it properly it's funny watching all these people rub WD-40 on their plastic thinking it's going to solve something and then 2 days later it goes right back to looking like crap there's only one real way to do it and that's Heat or a new paint job

This was 9 Minutes that felt like an hour & I still missed wtf the Bleach was for other than using it on the seat. lol ffs

The bleach is to remove any oxidation..... if you heat the plastic before removing the oxidation and the oxidation will become part of the coloration when you reheat the plastic. I'm sorry this video didn't feel enormously helpful to you but look hey it helped a ton of other people
