Fantastic info. I learned Permesso simply by taking public transport; metro and bus.

it really does come in handy. I wish I had had a better video of people blocking the doorway. that is by far not the best (or worst) example!

I can't stand when people do that. They just stand in a doorway while everyone trying to get off a bus or train have to squeeze past them. This is what happens when selfishness meats a profound lack of situational awareness.

Lack of situational awareness. I like that and I think this properly addresses the problem. I don't know if it's a natural weakness or something that people learn.

Also, thank you for "edicola". I've been putting the accent on the 3rd syllable erroneously da quando per sempre!

Are large luggages (size around 28 inches) allowed in metro?

Hi Wayne! Thanks for your comment! I'm glad you found my channel just in time and I hope you're better prepared before you come here. Slight video update: the ticket machine that I crossed out, the other day I saw some Rom girls standing by the machine "assisting" tourists. After they want a handout and to be honest I really don't like giving money to them, and I never do. So all the more reason to not get your tickets from those machines.

@@DavidsDoseofItaly Thank you so much for the reply David. I have 1 or 2 questions, but we will spend the next month studying the route. We arrive on June 1st... Only found out yesterday that it's Italian Republic day on the 2nd of June. We have 3 days on Rome then Florence then Milan then Como. Warm regards Wayne

@@hayleyscomet1 I'll be happy to answer the questions. In regards to June 2nd, it is a national holiday so stores and businesses will be closed but not all of them. In fact, if you're in a larger city you'll find more things open. One thing is for sure, you won't go hungry! How long will you be in Italy?

Wayne Haylett being early people will help you a lot here. The Termini area is ok but at times you’ll find some characters there. Stay alert. Keep in touch 😀
