Just wanted to say, man...I'm US Navy, here working on a Marine base in Yuma, AZ and even though I roll my sleeves a bit different than you, I watch your video every Monday morning when I'm rolling mine....I love the non-talking; you just go and get the job done...very relaxing and theraputic...like a game of golf, or turning a record over to side "B." Thanks for the weekly motivation....!

Hey, since you used to be in US Navy as a sailor and worked at the Marine base In Yuma, AZ. What was your mos/rate when you work at Yuma? Because I want to be in the US Navy and work closely with the US Marines. If you don’t mind me asking

@@jacobbailey4810 I was a PS aka Admin/Pencil Pusher. Before that a QM. To work closely with the Marines, a medical corpsman (HM) or a RP (Admin for the religious Officer) would be your best bet. Overall I'll say find a rate / NEC that you would enjoy doing, one that'll give you skills once you get out too. Go see the world, stay out of trouble, get all the free training you can and document your injuries in your health record, also don't get married the first 5 minutes you meet a girl and you'll be fine would be my guess. Marines 98-2005 and we never rolled our sleeves this way. You can get tight rolled sleeves in the same amount of time without the extra steps. It would only be a better way to roll sleeves if it saved time to get the tight roll and not have the "Gunny roll"

In Canada it is against regs to iron the cadpat operational uniforms because it screws the IR coating on the uniform. It makes it much easier to roll the arms too because there is no need of an iron.

if you are in the army and you did it like this you are shit out of luck LOL. this is the way the navy/marine corps do it. the army rolls their sleeves different. the army rolls have the camoflauge on the outside where as the navy/marine corps has the inside showing outward. i've been out for a long time now. i don't even know if the navy (seabees in my case) still wear the CUU's or if they went to something else. one thing i am absolutely certain of is that this particular uniform the navy and marine corps roll their sleeves the same, but opposite of the army. airforce i have no idea what they do and could care less LOL
