I use to. the wire to the sensor had been repaired with crimp connections. I did a solder and heat shrink repair and not had any issues since

the other thing I've done is cable tie the plug and wire up. I think I tied it to the stop cable but not 100%without looking

yea zip tied the plug connection together too. pretty annoying but got used to the when she starts whining in 9th you're around 2000 rpm lol

Yeah it's quite funny running ur pto at 2500 rpm for the first half-hour then it starts getting a bit annoying. You said you have a repair on the wire. Is it a solder repair or crimp connections. I found the crimp connections can cause the problem

do you have rev counter problems? as in reading correct tick over rpm and then going scatty up to 5000 rmp just after tick over. we bought a new electronic sensor which attaches to the fuel pump which was fine for ever so long but the problem remains intermittent...

we replaced a section of the wire too, was thinking it might me be the connection to the sensor as waggle of that sometimes sorts it out. Cheers for that rules out the sensor now
