Hi @AJSmart, would it be please possible to share the template as a link to the board which we could duplicate? I cannot load the backup file with my Miro account. Thank you!

This is great! What do you suggest for a team that doesn't have good baseline metrics? From the video, one key result was : "Reduce the time taken to resolve after sales service issues by 40%". In the case where the team doesn't know what their current resolution time is, what would you suggest?

Great video! Would you typically do followup sessions to decide how to achieve these goals?

That's a great question. It depends. Some goals are pretty straightforward and would only require short follow up stand-ups to make sure that the goals are being achieved. Other goals may require an entire ideation session or workshop to come up with a project or plan on how to achieve them. Thank you!

One big thing you’re missing is the initiatives to achieve their key results.

I love that this seems very efficient. Also when allowing discussions to flow, often the extroverts talk without stop, so it's nice to keep them in check like this. BUT... If you are to have a diverse team of managers and doers in the same meeting, they might have very different values and knowledge of the problems the company/product should solve. e.g. Developers might not know that HR is struggling with hiring new talent or that sales haven't sold much this past year. Do you do some work/exercises upfront before this workshop to gather people a bit and give them insight, or is diversity a strength for the strategy that is the result of this workshop? I am just a bit worried that going from too much discussion to too little might be a concern. Please advise what activities/prerequisites should be done before this workshop!

Good question! It’s important to make a distinction between goals and challenges. An OKR workshop is great for setting goals. The concerns you raise in your comment are about team challenges. Both are important, but should be discussed separately. So here’s one way to handle this: 1. Run a high-level OKR workshop that includes senior people from different departments (design, dev, HR, marketing, etc.). The goal of this workshop would be to set the overall company ORKs. Example: Objective: Grow our business. Key Results: 1. Grow revenue to $3M, 2. Launch the new product 3. Reduce churn to

I lobe that one needs to add a key result that is measurable. However, what if you’re in a place where on can’t provide the numbers because they don’t know the original stat?
@abdu_brh

Maybe search for the average on that metric

On results, do you think this is where SMART applies? (specific, measurable, attainable/actionable/achievable, relevant, time-based/timely)

Yes, key results should be SMART.
