If you have S1 pro you can opt M or ctrl M to bring up melodyn and it detects the bpm of the material next to the key in the upper left corner of the melodyn window

Wouldn't it be better to use Melodyne Studio and remove the low end drum instruments and higher end hi hats on the sample instead of using a Low Pass filter in Sample One and Hi pass in SSL channel strip.......seems like it would be better to have the instruments completely removed with Melodyne.

@@Craftmaster3 I was thinking that you wanted that lo Fi sound so you use filters.....I just thought there would be more creative options in the song construction if you had a higher resolution samples using Melodyne to carve out all the drums........and such creative options could include a vocal collab

I know this was a long time ago but I just stumbled across this, looking for vocal sampling ideas. I would bet it only runs on Professional or the membership one, if you're current. I started with Artist 3.x and it was great for creating music but it was totally first-level stuff, many things were not turned on. Pro V5 ftw. Worth every penny.

But I'm Gonna Study this Cause what I get from your Classes & the website, I gotta learn impact a Bit, I avoid as Much as I can - but I gotta Do it! LOL I'm trying to Move Like you on this Shit. You Don't Approach it as a producer You walk In it Like Your a Scientist with it. How you study songs & Analyze it and Inform your Viewers - it's fine to take records and study Notes and Practice with them and Create your Own Notes From the examples shown. I salute you for your time and effort for that -

@@Craftmaster3 you are better! i been doing this for over 20 years i use to be crazy for every plugin when i realize 1. normally problems 2. i didnt need 10 EQ's. but to each its own S1 plugins are dope man once you really play with them
