Wow I really appreciated this. Most of these KZitem content creators say they do this to help The producer community but will you reach out to them first they just ignore you. I ask this brother for help with something And Wala a video appears that actually helps. Solid💪🏽🙏

Dope! I'm looking to make the switch from FL Studio to Ableton and this helps a lot. For the life of me and I don't understand why Image-Line won't make improvements to Fruity Slicer & Slicex. Just a few tweaks would make a world of difference. But the Warp feature and Simpler are exactly what I've been looking for.

Make the switch man! I started off in FL, it’s a great software but once I tried Ableton there was no looking back.

Quality content, good looks my dude. Definitely prefer the 2nd technique, sarato is fun af but it feels very limited in comparison to the simplers functionality through the push. I recently started running a sample through sarato first to find a nice key and sort out the bpm, once I have the audio ready I just one shot the entire sample and bounce the audio to its own track then use that audio in simpler to chop and tweak.

I find serato sample clunky in comparison to the previous techniques even if it is initially faster. I love your tutorials on sampling man, you make it real easy to follow & I can’t wait to chop up some samples now

Thanks man and you’re right. Serato does feel a bit clunky at times but it’s super fast to get started with.

@@MicahWeston You're right too. Man when I use to use Logic I'd love how quickly I could throw in a sample in Serato. But when it came to fine tuning my cuepoints I still found it faster to just chop up the audio.

@@MicahWeston i don’t understand session view but I understand arrangement view. Like I might have drums from a sample pack or drumkit say I load a drum an snare and kick I struggle with triggering them .
@MicahWeston

@@sheaholiday3019 Okay. I may need to make a video about session view then - but to me, it sounds like you may not have your tracks “Armed” (the circle button that turns red after you click it which is located right underneath the ‘S’ button on the given track). OR you may be adding your drums to an audio track in session view, when in actuality you should be adding them to a MIDI track since you want to trigger them. That was a lot but let me know if that makes sense!

@@sheaholiday3019 I see people use MK3’s in Ableton every now and then, so it definitely works BUT it’s going to require some tweaks. You should lookup this guy named LLCool Sk8z on KZitem he has a video on Machine x Ableton integration that looks legit. Native Instruments should be working on a MIDI template for you guys to use ur MK3’s in Ableton. Go to their site and check because they probably have something for you.

Kieya wassup? Sorry for this late response BUT every technique in this video is dope in the sense that you can set your tempo to whatever you want either before you apply these techniques or after you apply these techniques. I truly hope this makes sense. Please feel free to hit me up via this comment thread if you are still unclear. Thanks for rocking with my channel!

Last question. Don’t mean to be a bother but is there a certain note you put it in once you put it in chromatic mode or it doesn’t matter (for both Serato Sample and Simpler for drums)
@MicahWeston
3 жыл бұрын
@@thehomierich No problem man. So let's say you're in chromatic mode and your scale is in C major. The 'Middle C' which for the most part will be the natural tone of a drum sample you load in will be located towards the middle of the device. That pad will be highlighted a certain color. While using Serato sample you can literally start chopping your samples anywhere on the Push.
