Make sure the multifunction printer or scanner is turned on and connected to the PC.
Place the document to be scanned on the scanner glass.
Press the Windows key
Or click on START.
Write "SCAN"
From the menu that opens, choose “WINDOWS FAX AND SCANNER”.
Click on “NEW SCAN” at the top left.
Choose the machine you want to scan with.
Double click, or press ok.
It is possible to customize the settings, color, black and white, resolution.
Click on scan.
The scanning operation will begin. It could take more than a minute, obviously the higher the resolution, the longer the scanning time will be.
Sometimes a preview is available.
Done, here's your scanned document.
Save it to your desktop, or wherever you like.
