As a new dj i was telling myself "dont scratch, dont scratch, dont scratch".. turn on your video... try again on my conroller... "i can scratch!" Amazing lessons bro. I cant get enough. I am a newborn DJ but I am musically inclined. Your simple tutorials have bridged the gap for me so much. I never intended to become some super dj. I host karaoke nights and the music I play in between simply landed me some dj gigs so I decided to buy a DJ controller....i think i found my calling. Thank you for all the beginner tips! got my PIONEER DDJ SR2 just last dec20 straight from dubai since mostly they sell here where im at now is NUMARK. Actually i have now both Numark N4 and this my latest, my SR2. But my problem is, as like your tutorial, I am still a baby into DJing, dont even have alot of songs yet to play, and one thing i wanna learn is "scratching". Another problem is, how do i set up my SR2 for scratching like where to place the volume, knobs, do i need to go to my settings and set up any parameters, and etc? hope you'll make this type of detailed videos for beginners like me who is still learning the basics. There aren't much videos out there like it coz mostly all the videos ive watched goes straight to scratching without showing the one thing most important part FOR US BEGINNERS, HOW TO SET UP BEFORE ACTUALLY DOING IT. Nice video by the way, its only thru this video ive learned where to actually start scratching, which is the beginning of the sample, now i just need the set up if there are any. you're one of my inspirations. Thanks

*gets Pioneer DJ immediately* tries to do the baby scratch as soon as possible ( while struggling ) Anyways great video, skills, sounds, equipment, etc... Good topic for a tutorial and it wasn't for you I would probably still stuck at just playing music at decks but you also broaden our minds and taught us not just to play but also to scratch... This video is so informative, that one time I watched someone on how to baby scratch but he was using a turntable, but I'm too broke to buy a turntable so it was frustrating for me as I have a DDJ - SB2... BIG THANKS again for the awesome gift you shared and PEACE OUT ;) I suggest for your next video is other fundamentals at scratching, but still with a controller.... or how do you remix the track you scratch remix ?
