The ending 🤣🤣🤣 Nombre Viejo, its always nice to see your videos. I been in the commercial roofing business for 10+ years and its always nice to see other people's ways of doing things. Always nice to learn or even go over things we know.

This is a GREAT video and can't tell you how much I appreciate it! It's a really good contribution. For reference from a new installer: when our team used molten tar my foreman/lead would attach the downdrain over our newly-laid 90 lb paper, prime the downdrain with asphalt primer, then do our hot tar course runs in 40 lb with a separate piece of 40 lb (that was "feather cut" like your reinforcing fabric was cut) tarred to the drain, then our granulated capsheet directly over that - and then STILL finish with another application of primer, fabric, and modified mastic with granules on top to match the surrounding granules. It's been a few years but that's to the best of my remembrance. It'll last MANY years... but will eventually need to be repaired like you did! I personally think downdrains to make a neighborhood look good by avoiding scuppers and gutters are a BAD architectural concept. Why incorporate a drain INTO the house?!? The cold winter rain alone will probably affect the temperature of that part of the house.

You know they make silicone mastic now, much better than modified

Can you use asphalt emulsion to seal the drains or does it have to be mastic
