I know, I know, there a million videos on seasoning pans out there. On this one you will probably see something you haven't seen before. That method was learned at my place of work long ago to match up brand new plastic pieces to old stuff to make it look more similar.
Pans have a small coating of oil on them that manufactures have to use to release the items from molds or injection molding. That oil will make fine gold float on water so that's not a good thing! You always want to wash them down really good with warm soap and water, scrub the heck out of them, take some 220 sandpaper or just some dirt from outside and scrub them again. That usually does the trick. On the XP pan I didn't want to get too aggressive on it due to the section on the pan that is a snake skin embossment, Id like to keep that as fresh as the factory as can be. Worked great and the pan is now ready for service!
Any questions or comments can also be sent to goldpansuntan@gmail.com. Dont forget, channel stickers are always free around here so if you want one please email an address for me to send them to and Ill get them right out the door!
I sure hope our videos leave you encouraged to brave the outdoors, research how to find the elusive gold, plan your precious time to spend, get out there to get your own adventures started and teach everyone along the way who is willing to learn right along side you! Hope I someday earn your subscription and look forward to helping fellow prospectors learn new gold catching techniques as well as the old tried and true ones!
Thank you for taking your time to watch and if you have subscribed I owe you a debt of gratitude!
