This one has been "in the cards" since I first did movie breakdowns years ago, but I held off because the pickup scenes just weren't "pickup" scenes. However, I think focusing on Hank's attractive behavior in general gives an amazing video. Hopefully you'll agree...

Thank you thank you thank you!!! This is my favorite tv show of all time. I'm even writing an essay on this show, and an entire section is dedicated to Hank's "seduction" style being a misnomer. In most media, if a male character sleeps with many women he's either a player or a lady's man: Hank is the latter. His personality and lifestyle is conducive to hooking up with women but he rarely is ever being the pursuer. Some other seductions to break down i would like to see are his teaching assistant from season 3, and Faith from season 6. Take it easy Todd!

@@lucasjsnyder it's very poorly written and the formatting is ugly. It's like a coke fuelled bender written on a series of napkins that never saw an editor. It's just clunky. For example, typing out "he said" and "she said," over and over again when he could have just moved down a line. I will never get back the minutes of my life that I spent reading through the amount of times that he would repeat the same description of a porch light at night, or whatever other description he felt like emphasising. He just keeps expressing the same concept throughout, even going so far as to include an in text citation for a page in the book that you are currently reading. The formatting is mildly annoying since the paragraph style keeps switching from indentation to full on breaks and the font is inconsistent throughout; but that's minor compared to the rest.

But a smooth and valuable guy like Hank will naturally have women throwing themselves at him. Question for Todd and anybody who reads. Is it possible to become that competent, sexual male in your late 20s? A bit of context, I come from an upbringing where sex was not taught as a natural fact, but rather seen as a luxury (my parents being both very insecure, only really had 2 partners each). Also in education I never had that pressure/stimulation because I was always peered with the more naive kids. TLDR: I'm not a natural when it comes to seduction or being sexual. I do have an n-count but obviously short, and only had one real long-term gf. This year I decided I want to become my best version, I've started working out and learning to be more playful in general. I'm not giving up but at times it feels like what it's actually like: I'm years behind the curve. In this regard, is it possible to be that late boomer and actually make it work? Has anybody done this successfully?
