The Oculus Passthrough API allows you to use 2 different projection surface types which can be used depending on your mixed reality experience.
Projection Surface User Defined - allows you to be selective on what objects are added to the OVR Passthrough Layer such as in cases when you want to create a window towards the physical world vs seeing everything in virtual reality.
Projection Surface Reconstruction - is the default behavior of the OVR Passthrough Layer and it behaves as all or nothing, meaning we have the entire screen in mixed reality or just in virtual reality. You can also use the hidden option to toggle visibility of the passthrough layer.
