Great little video .... been searching the web for specific Deye Hybrid settings

Can U expand this and explain how to use "time of use" in "seling first" mode, please. Especialy what exacly meens "power" column in "time of use". It is realy good job you have done :)

Any luck searching for these answers? I think selling first exports up to max export power before charging battery from PV or GEN. On time slots with GRID charge on, I believe it doesn't export.

On regards of the Power in the time of use, I think it's total load power or inverter power, whichever is higher.

Hi, nice job! Looking at 6:04 for example: Is there a way to limit the inverters connection to the LOAD (Home Load + Grid) connection (for example to 2000W) in total? And this while not limiting the the Backup Load connection (3.6 KW, 5KW, 10KW whatever the inverter can max). I would like to use all the possible power at Backup Load port. And additionally I would like to do "Zero export to CT" (not selling anything). But my setup only allows to use a wire from inverter to grid direction that cannot handle the max. power of the inverter. So my Home Load can and should only be supported to the 2000W. Also taking from Grid to Backup Load (or battery charging) has to be limited to the 2000W in total. Is this possible somehow? Thank you.

I love your Deye videos! I have a question, Say I have 01:00 - 4:00 to drop battery to 60%, NO Charging, and I just want it to use the battery not grid to save bills. What if at 3:00 I already reached 60%? what will happen since i still got 1 hour to go? will the system shut down since I dont have charging enabled? or will it allow it to go lower? 1. I am guessing if I reached 60%, and I had GRID on, it would use grid and not shut down, correct? 2. If I did not have grid, and it reached 60%, and i still got 1 hour to go, no charging enabled what would it do? Any recommendation? thanks!

Hi there, at least you can set up the timetable. Normally you can use LiFePo batteries quite in a good range. Discharge until 20 % is ok. So let the batteries work at night until they reach 20 %, then Grid will "jump in" until the production of your panels starts.

Hi Whats the BMS brand?

Could this work with a vehicle to load (V2L) enabled electric car instead of a generator? If so could the inverter be programmed to switch to charging the house battery e.g. so say at night (or whenever) plug in the v2l enabled vehicle to the inverter (say before going to bed) and when the house battery goes under a certain amount of charge e.g. 50% the inverter starts using the charge in the v2l vehicle to top up the house battery?

hello friend, I have the same inverter with battery sku11523 vtac, connected with bms via cable and it is detected, but when it reaches 80%, it stops and takes everything from the network, if set as voltage battery it works, if set lithium and yes connect to the bms the soc does not reach more than 80 , can you help me ?

System Work Mode -> activate "time of use" -> Change "Batt" from 80% to whatever You want to. The Inverter does what You tell it to. You told it to Stop unloading the battery at 80% 😅 But that's the Standard setting, I had the same problem with my deye.

what happen grid power lost in 80%? it will continue battery?

you can only supply the backup load with the battery power. So your home would need a cutover switch and so your switchboard could be reverse fed by the "load/backup" output instead of the "grid" output.

Still i dont understand zero export to load and zero export to load ❤️🤔
@tommyleesue

zero export to load meens zero export to home load - just delivers energy to backup load zero export to CT meens zero export to grid - delivers energy to home load and to backup load

I've been searching for this answer for the last few weeks...seen tens of KZitem videos and read dozens of articles on solar system....but nowhere has this been explained as clearly as you have done. For the first time I have actually understood what the terms zero expert to load and zero export to CT mean. Thank you
@THEZEST1357

@@aalemsyed2145 CT just measures power in or out to the grid. Basically CT mode is for those tied to the grid, zero to load is for people using off grid systems with generators etc or alternatively if they have an existing solar system with micro inverters etc..
