I'm suggesting to our faculty to keep grading as simple as possible as we begin our D2L experience. Weighted grades in Blackboard were an utter nightmare to fix and if they want to venture back into that in D2L, they can follow your example here since it apparently works out okay. Personally, I've found that just using total points isn't tricky for anybody to understand...the more important things to learn and be graded on ("weighted"), the more points those items get, simple.

How can you set up KTCA sections? That is the issue we have. We split up into Knowledge (30%), Thinking/Inquiry (10%), Communication (10%) and Application (20%).
