@@dmz764 no it is not weird at all. I started when i was 6/7 with making doll clothes with my mom. I loved it so much that i started making my own clothes at 8/9 years old. I'm now in a taillering school and i'm 21 now and still in love with sewing. If you like to see stuff i make you can check my Instagram. Your videos are so very helpful for me. I am 56 years old and trying to learn how to sew, I purchased the Baby lock Brilliant sewing machine and the Baby lock Serger after watching your videos. I bought my first shirt pattern and I have been really lost, this video did help me quite a bit. Now if I can learn how to attach a yoke (front and back ) I will be humming. Thank you Dana

Great. If you sew the sleeve in before you sew sides sides, they go in so easy! Pretty blouse.

Yep, that's another way to do it!...which I prefer that with T-shirts. With this particular pattern a set-in sleeve is recommended.

@@MADEEveryday I purchased this pattern! Am working on it now in between several interruptions (grrrr!) yesterday and today. I transferred the pattern markings onto pattern paper and, since it's a keeper, I'll transfer again onto soft cardstock. I can see making several versions for all summer. So happy I found this pattern!

Very nice! I would have hemmed the sleeve before sewing it into the arm hole. I also would have pre-pressed the hem before sewing the side seams.

You can do it that way, but this method gives you a nice polished finish on the sleeve (so that the raw seam allowance is not exposed in the armhole). It really helps to do the prep step that we did in the video---to press the sleeve hem under before sewing the sleeve, so that all you have to do at the end is fold it under and sew in place!

Wow. What a cute pattern. Its funny, I think I have a shirt just like this (comes up to my pants' waist) with very short [maybe cap] sleeves that I found at a Ross store. Another pattern to add to my "wish-list". One day I'll make some clothes for myself. ;)
