@@ScrappyPatch It works really well and lets you iron the graphics without worryings about melting the design :) Be sure you take the paper out of the seam allowances as you go

Hi, Scrappy Patch, the instructions you provided worked great! I know my son will love the t-shirt quilt I created for him for Christmas. Couldn't have done it without your excellent KZitem video. Lord bless you!

Thank you for this tutorial, it's boosting my confidence to get one finished! I'm in the process of doing one for my son - he is a Tshirt-a-holic! I have turned all the back sections into tshirt yarn and crocheted a floor mat that, I believe, will be the never-ending floor mat lol.

Thanks for the very helpful tutorial. My brother-in-law sent me 85 t-shirts and he wanted them all in the same quilt! I used your method, except both front and back are t-shirt blocks. It turned out great!

I've been saving my granddaughters School t-shirts because I've always wanted to make this, she thinks this idea is weird, but I know she is going to like it when it's done, thank you again, your videos encourage me to sew more because your videos are at a pace I can fellow.

I love how direct you are in your videos! It’s refreshing to watch a video that tells you exactly what you need to know. Your videos also have the right level of zoom when steps are more detailed. Really nicely done! I can’t wait to see more!

Love that you ironed the fussing on before cutting the t-shirt. I didn't do this for the first Tshirt quilt I made for my oldest kiddo but will definitely do it for the next one I make for my youngest kiddo. What a huge timesaver when dealing with stretchy tshirts with all different tensions of stretch.

Nice quilt. My sister asked me to make her a t-shirt quilt with all her daughter's baseball t-shirts and after watching your video I'm going to give it a try. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.

Nice to see a man quilting. I like your straightforward instructions. Greetings from Finland, the home country of Fiskars (your cutting mat). Subscribed! You mentioned junk journals by the way. Do you have videos of those?

Why do you press the first row seams to the right, the second to the left, etc?
@ScrappyPatch
3 жыл бұрын
When you sew the rows together the seams will lock together and you will not have a hard lump of fabric at those seams. Your quilt will lay flatter.

Love your quilt!! Could I machine quilt it? If yes how would I do that?
@ScrappyPatch
2 жыл бұрын
If you want to machine quilt this, I would just layer the backing and top together, quilt it, then you would have to add a binding after that

What size width, length, and tension did u use?
@ScrappyPatch
3 жыл бұрын
I use 2.5 length and tension in the middle like 3 or 4. Width depends on what Stitch I’m using. An average zig zag I would use a 3.5 or 4 width
