So easy and looks way better than a slip knot. Thank you Nicki!

As a beginner to crochet, thank you so much for this. I’ve been struggling for ages with different techniques to do better joins and this is the first that’s made sense and makes my work look better.

This such a great join and I do it all the time too, great demo, thank you, I have shared many times on FB groups asking how to have a neat join/finish to their rounds. :) Thank you, Nicki.

How secure is it with your method of weaving in or do you weave it in more?

Question using this method are you then adding a stitch if you are making a piece that you will be joining to another piece/ half won't that screw up the stitch count example ending on 70 stitches becomes 71 ( how would one join to still achieve 70 stitches )

I just did a little test and to avoid getting that extra stitch, I inserted my needle through the second stitch in the round instead of the first. It’s a little more fidgety with the yarn, but it works! I hope that explanation makes sense (:

Tried to watch this vid on your website but it wouldn’t play for me. Am on the final round of #APR22MCAL and the invisible join was suggested. After watching the vid I do know how to do this. Just forgot what it was called😊

@@NickisHomemadeCrafts Thank you! I'll check it out. When finishing a beanie or other project that I want to look finished, I do almost the very same thing as what you are showing here except I go through from front to back, then take the needle through the back loop of the last crochet. I was in hog heaven when I learned to do that, but I am trying to find your video on a hidden slip stitch.

What about a seamless join on the rounds prior to the last round?

Try this instead when its before cutting the yarn: www.nickishomemadecrafts.com/hidden-slip-stitch/
