I'm making an on point quilt for my daughter's wedding gift. I found your tutorial and it has been a life saver! I could picture sewing the pieces together similar to this, but was not sure about the cornerstones. Thank you for such a clear, unhurried video. I've bookmarked your video, as you suggested.

Thank you for the tutorial. I wasn't sure though what the pin was marking on the sashing part if you were gong to cut off the extra. I made a twin size for my first. This pattern called for full blocks on the edges and then cutting off the points. I was scared of the bias edges so I sewed my border on by marking the sewline and then cut off the side pieces leaving me with so many triangles that I was able to make a long table runner and 2 pillows. I always enjoy your podcasts, your daughter and the great patterns you have!

Thank you for this video! I’m teaching a class with curriculum that does a quilt just like this (just different blocks) and the directions in the student packet only say “sew diagonally”. And the teacher packet gives no instruction including no layout pictures. I have really struggled with this one and because of you and this video, I see there are cutting directions that are off and I can finally see how to sew the top together. Thank you for clear instructions and a well done video. You saved my class.

I’m a beginner but was quite interested in how you use your rulers to find centers or trim sides. I also noted how careful you were in handling your bias edges. Do you starch your fabrics before beginning in order to provide more stability to those edges? Thank you for sharing that enlightening demonstration! Happy 2021!

This is off-topic.... I don't know if you've mentioned this before, would you be able to tell me where you purchased the white mat on top of your table? I have been looking for one but have had very little luck. They are either sold out or do not ship to Canada. Thank you in advance! Also, this little table topper quilt is adorable.
