This was an excellent lesson! I just bought my first sewing machine today (kind of an impulse buy, if we're being honest) and I wanted to make my own workout headbands. The zig-zag stitch tip was super helpful because I bought spandexy fabric to work with. Thanks again from a new fan!

Thanks so much for making this video! My daughter purchased a cute head band from a skate shop and loves it like crazy. She paid a little too much for it in my opinion. So I took her to the swap meet where they sell surplus fabric from LA's fashion district for only $2 a yard. We were looking for videos and the head bands you make are just like the one she purchased but with a larger bow for a "Rosie the Riviter" look. She's now well on her way to making her own head bands.

This video was awesome, thank you so much! Made a bunch of quick headbands from knits. If you have trouble sewing the opening of the tube closed (the first time, with the machine doubled up part) I think it is easier if the headband is wider. 😁

Cute bands. I think i picked a too think and not stretchy enough tshirt for my first one. But for the one that you sewed the small band on it, just turn it after you sewed it on, so the seamed edge is inside.
