Awesome demo, Darrell! Goes to show that some planning (lighting, external cam) makes a huge difference in quality. This is such cool tech but it’s unfortunate that it launched the same time as the new fully digital whiteboard features.

Content camera will be helpful for those who want to use a real whiteboard to write, but don't have a digital pen-enabled device. Or they struggle with using tools and a mouse, even though Microsoft Whiteboard has made improvements. Some people are more comfortable picking up a real pen and using a real board.

@@DarrellaaS yep I just talked to an exec yesterday about that. He bought a camera for an existing board in his office, but is also ordering a Wacom tablet. He’s planning to use content capture until he builds the muscle memory to go full digital.

I have been using this mode for my lectures. One problem I experience is video choppiness (only my figure). The internet speed and bandwidth very good (50 MBPS). Any suggestions?

Can you clarify if this is available for normal user meetings? Everything I am seeing seems to indicate this is only available "Teams Meeting Rooms".

I used this feature with a standard meeting in Teams. The feature is in Public Preview and will eventually be available to anyone from Teams for desktop.

@@DarrellaaS Thanks for the video, but I'm having trouble finding out how to install the Public Preview. Do you have instructions for that? Thanks.

Hi @@kevinlo5098 It’s something an administrator can enable in Microsoft 365. Here’s the reference - docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/public-preview-doc-updates Once configured, people added to the Public Preview will have an option in Settings > About menu of Teams desktop to change to Public Preview or Developer Preview. The desktop app will restart and your profile photo in Teams will show a “P”, indicating the desktop app is now using Public Preview. You can switch back to Standard release anytime from the About menu.

Thanks @Modern. I saw this post as well. But I'm not the admin in the organizations that I belong to, which may be why I can't modify that. Thanks for the response, this is very helpful.
