We show you an effective way of sharpening leather round punches with tools you may already have in our workshop. If you are passionate about leatherworking, then you need a set of sharpened hole punches.

Thanks 👍🏽. Will u show me how to sharpen round hole pricking irons?
@VasileandPavel

i am good only at round punches. I don't know much about pricking irons, i rarely use them. I have pricking irons from Crimsonhides, they are good. I only use them for wallets.

Great video. What and where can I find the flat sharpening ‘stones’ you used. Sorry, I don’t know the proper name for that.

i use like this: cheap chinese 400 grit diamond stone, 1000 diamond stone, a Fallkniven ceramic stone (for me this one is indispensable) and a strop with a very fine grit. But i also use sandpaper, it is good enough to keep your tools sharp
