I know I might get some backlash from the pros for this video... but result are results! 😆

I take my camera off the tripod quite often when I need to hold the camera through a gap in a closed door, for tiny rooms. Works out fine.

Definitely helps having DOUBLE stabilization from your camera. But I've done this plenty of times especially for exteriors to speed things up ;)

It is good to know how to do this. Not every interior needs brackets. Second reason to als use the tripod is that you want to leave the camera on it when the room needs some attention. It is not a race.

Definitely! You can fine tune your composition and make sure it’s perfect. Like I said, this was a special case scenario where I forgot my tripod on a far shoot and figured I could showcase the results! Thanks for watching

Haha how, like as a monopod? Nice!

After seeing this I am thinking of trying a monopod... I shoot in some tight places sometimes (log cabins, old buildings) and I think that might be a good alternative to a tripod banging around and I would suppose you could get your 3 points of contact easier

Hey! That's actually a fantastic idea, I've thought of the same before as well! Just can't say how sturdy that setup would be. If you don't get any swaying from your camera standing there by itself, that would be a great solution. Thanks for watching!

They make a monopod that stands on its own. I'm going to use it next time.

Hi very interesting but what do you think about use a monopod to take shots near corners? Thanks for your video.

Hey Leo! Interesting idea, I’ve thought about that before. It would totally work, just has to be a pretty stable monopod to not get any slight movement standing by itself. Thanks for watching!

Whats up Andrei ! I had a question, I'm starting to get into real estate shooting video/photos in the Dallas area and I already purchased the rf 14-35mm f/4 lens but I keep asking myself if I should return that and invest in the cheaper STM lens to have various focal lengths! I would appriacte the feedback! Thank you (I own canon r6)
@AndreiRestrepo

Hey Isaac! What other focal lengths are you wanting to use? Honestly that 14-35 is probably all you need! I used the EF version for years. The only other lens I use occasionally is a 50mm for detail shots for high end listings. But honestly, that’s the perfect lens for real estate photo/video. Plus you can still zoom in to 35mm and details still look great at f/4, and if you’re doing video in 4k, you can crop in to fake a 50mm look. Thanks for watching!

I hope you didn't return that Lena. It's amazing and L glass is way better then STM. It was the only lens I needed for the first 2 years then I bought the 85mm macro.
