Thanks for this video! Our son just bought a beautiful Invicta. He needed it adjusted down 5 links. We watched the video...dug up some tools (used two potholders for cushioning, needle nose pliers, a small hammer, and a pin nail). He got it all done super quick! x) Thanks again!

Buying watches is one thing. Paying for sizing can be costly! I own over 80 watches and at $10 to $15 to have them sized the money I would save by sizing my own bracelets could buy a very nice watch! Thank you for the video. Very informative.

Thank you very much, mission accomplished! I made the mistake of trying to put the pin in split end first till it dawned on me that it went back in the way it came out! OK, I'm sure you've either accomplished this task, or you took it to a jeweler. Either way, this is what you should know.... The reason you struggled was because you were trying to remove the pin from the wrong side! The only reason this would take longer than several minutes is because you're pushing from the wrong end. Now, regarding the arrows on the inside of the watch, what the person who made this video failed to mention is that these arrows could have different meaning for different watch makers. So, there is only one way to ensure that you get it right and that is to use a magnifying glass to determine which side you should be pushing from. The split ends are the ones that need to emerge, so you have to push the solid end. In other words, you need to ensure that you are pushing from the non-split side. It's tricky because sometimes they look the same so heavy magnification really helps. Believe me, once you know what you are dealing with and what side you actually need to push from, it becomes super easy. The problem is that sometimes you can't tell which side is which side and those bloody arrows don't really help. In this video he said that these arrows tell you which way to push, but the general rule is that these arrows are actually pointing to the side to push. So, who is correct, this video or watch makers? The answer is that it doesn't matter because if you do a magnification check, you won't need the bloody arrows at all.

Also make sure you have a soft surface to sit it on so the pin can have some room to move and pop out of the band. I ended up bending my pin and getting it suck inside of the hole. I had to use bolt cutters and a saw to cut one of the links off because it was bent so bad it wouldn’t come out. I used a piece of rubber later on and it worked great!

Should you not have taken one link out of each side of the band so that it has even numbers of links on each side of the watch? Makes sense to me that it should be done that way? Final adjustments could then be done at the snap down clasp which has a total of Five adjustments I think.
