Bullseye to Bullet Hole sight in technique has been around for decades. It is the quickest, easiest, and most time and cost efficient way to sight in a scope or reflex red dot on a shotgun or rifle. As this may seem simple to a lot of us there is just as many or more that have no clue what it is or how to do it. I was always explaining it to others on forums and finally just took a quick few minutes to explain it the best I could. The video was shot with my cell phone. Hopefully it is good enough and I explained it well enough for people to understand.
Things to remember before dialing in your shotgun for its final sight in to be ready to go hunting.
1) Make sure your barrel nut is tight. If it isn’t you will be chasing your pattern around all day.
2) Before you do final sight in you should have already found what choke and load combo you want to go with. Different chokes and loads can/and will have different points of impact.
3) Use cheap low brass loads to get it close at 8-10 yards which is the step I explain in the video. Then when you move 40 you use your turkey loads.
4) If you make a shot when sighting in and you are not confident that it was a perfect shot you are better off to go ahead and shoot another shot. Take your time and squeeze the trigger and make nice clean shots so that you know the results you are getting are true so your adjustments you make are correct saving you time and money to get dialed in.
