Thank you so much. I really enjoyed the tips, and I do believe they are critical in getting the body to wind down and fall asleep. The most important is the phone. I tend to watch some random stuff on KZitem and then sleep. I guess that's gonna stop now. I will try to follow your tips. I don't have Alexa yet. But hopefully I will one day.

Thank you! Your sleep tips are great! I actually sleep like a baby, but my hips shoulders, neck and knees just don’t react like the rest of my body and hurt in the mornings. I am most definitely getting a body pillow. Sounds like a great solution. Also, I agree with making the bed every day. When I go into my bedroom throughout the day, I always enjoy the beauty of my bed. Also, my Granny Robeson always reminded me to never sleep in panties, because it wasn’t good for me. She was born in 1897. I always tried to follow her lead….still do. Enjoy your videos so much! Thanks again!

HI Donna! Yay that you're getting a body pillow. One suggestion: I'm petite and like a thin pillow. My husband prefers his to be thicker. Just consider the thickness of the pillow and how much it will elevate your leg. My favorite is a king size pillow from Walmart (generic brand) that's cheap, thin, and squishy 🤣. And woo hoo on no undies!

Every night before bed, after brushing my teeth, I wash the makeup off of my face. Then I put on my skin care and night time moisturizer, spritz myself with a little bit of Vanilla Bean Noel, turn on my ceiling fan and grab my hugging pillow with the silk pillow case! I always keep a bottle of water on my nightstand because I sometimes wake up with a really dry mouth. My husband says it’s from my snoring! He’s precious! 😂

Great tips! I’d also add if you do “need” your phone to be nearby (like I use mine for alarms and sometimes for music or white noise to fall asleep to) Do Not Disturb mode is awesome! You can either do it manually or set it up on a schedule (like I have mine set from 11PM-9AM). Still have my phone on my nightstand, but the screen doesn’t light up and wake me up everything I get a text or notification. Can also pair that with the Screentime feature to block certain apps at a set time period too so you’re not tempted to scroll through those apps that it’s easy to get lost in (TikTok and Twitter are my big ones lol.) When I adopted my dog I wanted so badly for her to sleep in the bed with me, but she’d just been spayed and I couldn’t give her a good bath until her incision was good and healed, so by the time I was ready for her to start sleeping in the bed, she had no interest in it and preferred her kennel (that was when we were in an apartment and she was a chewer, didn’t want her eating the walls or something while I was asleep ha. Now she has free reign of the house and sleeps wherever she wants, but still not interested in sleeping in any of our beds.)

I sleep soundly all night and according to my husband, I'm pretty much asleep the moment my head hits the pillow. It's called "having to get up at 2:30am for work every day". Haha. By bedtime at 8m, I am so tired from the long day, I fall asleep immediately. On the weekends, I am "go go go" with housework that by the evening, I am worn out and sleep well.

At 72, I have had insomnia for the vast majority of my life. I think it is genetic since most of my family has had it. A duck feather pillow has made a difference. I have tried everything to sleep. But some nights it is 5 AM before sleep comes, whether I have gone to bed at midnight, 2 or 3. I generally try to read myself to sleep with one of my kindles. Also have a TV on. I don't think either has much of an effect on me, besides making me drowsy. When both are off I have still been known to toss and turn for 2-3 hours. Sometimes I have been known to turn the TV to one of the music channels - usually the Swing channel. I do wish others luck though.

All great tips! One thing we found that's really made a difference is certain vitamins also help. We have achy hips especially at night. We've tried everything but when my husband, who has a bad back and hip pain at night ... well I literally stumbled across this because I have shoulder hip and knee pain like to the point the Dr was thinking of surgery. Anyway, during Covid I kept hearing people need to take daily 2000iu of Vit D3 then heard you had to take it with 200mg - 400mg Magnesium Glycinate. I'm not kidding, I didn't have one achy pain all night. After a few days I told my husband he needs to take it too. Same dog gone thing, no pain the next morning. I had nausea with just taking the D3 at first but was advised by someone that I needed to take it with Mag Gly and nausea was gone except that I had to cut if back to 1600IU because I think it was too much for my body and I found that I can't take it in gel caps but only tablet form. Don't ask, I don't know why that is. I just reacted better with it and pain has stayed away as long as I take them. My husband has said it's the best sleep he's had in a long long time. Adjust to your body since thats what I had to do since everyone is different. I'm just passing along something I found that worked for us on top of the excellent tips you gave. Between your tips and Vitamins, we're sleeping like babies. TY for sharing!
