A good friend of mine told me recently who smoked shad. They shared a meal and sat down with the family members including kids. It was a blessing in disguised to have forced the family to slow down and eat dinner due to the bones. Great company, conversations came out of it. Often times we are in a rush to eat, I was inspired and moved so I decided to make smoke shad. Start with catching, filleting and smoking. The whole process from start to finish.
