Noah, I solved the 5x5 Rubik's cube two times in 2023, but now even though I took meticulous notes on solving the white cross, I can never get the configurations you have because the colors are different than your tutorial. What can I do? Please reply!

Tip for beginners : When he's giving an algorithm for a specific reason. Try to understand what exactly you're trying to do and how you're doing it. Do it slower and watch where the peices go to understand what's going on instead of just learning the moves for the sake of learning them

After watching your 4x4 tutorial and succeeding at that cube, I found that my intuition and knowledge of the 4x4 granted me an almost instant solve on this puzzle. I skimmed most of this video because of that, but the algs that you provided for the last two colours helped so much. I now know how to solve 2x2-5x5. Thanks for such awesome and helpful tutorials! The algorithm that starts at 39:29. While rather useful has a much easier work around. creating 3 misplaced squares towards the end of the centers. Positioning one on top and 2 on the sides and you can get it without the long algorithm. I liked doing the algorithm the first few times but had discovered the workaround that is much more efficient for my brain. But that’s what I love about Rubik’s cubes. So just remember right before you get to the last two. Position yourself correctly for them all to match in one move.

@ 43:08 you can see where you prescribed D4w as Clockwise. I performed that algorithm numerous times, only to realize that you typo'd and meant to say D4w = CCW. You're welcome. Also, for those who do not know...D4w is bottom 4 layers.

Great Tutorial. I learned using this video initially. But I think the pairing of the last 2 edges can be easily Simplified using a flipping method.. Add on Videos 1 - 5 except videos 2 are redundant. Just move the wrong piece to any one side (right or left ) and flip. eg. Video 1 can use Ur R F' U R' F UR' AND to be follow by algorithm of video 2 but often not necessary.
