2:05 If you want an example of how important lighting is, watch any scene filmed by Doug Walker. He is terrible at managing his scenes, especially with the lighting.

Hi, Mr. Kallgren. I need to know, right before you show the clip of the Red Balloon in the Color Palette portion of the video what is that seemingly oriental-looking movie? It appears to be gorgeous. - Take Care, Beannacht De Duit

Thanks, I am still a bit confused because it's such a broad term. Can there be more than one Mise en Scène in a film?
@ActingIda22
6 жыл бұрын
This is an interesting question i've never really thought about that before lmao. But i would say yes there possibly could be if that's what the director is going for like two polarizing themes in the movie. But overall those two different worlds would ultimately make up one entire mise-en-scene of the movie if that makes sense. I consider the mise-en-scene the overall feeling and mood you get from the film.

Yo listen up here's a story About a little guy that lives in a blue world And all day and all night and everything he sees Is just blue like him inside and outside Blue his house with a blue little window And a blue corvette And everything is blue for him and himself And everybody around 'Cause he ain't got nobody to listen to I'm blue da ba dee da ba die... I have a blue house with a blue window. Blue is the colour of all that I wear. Blue are the streets and all the trees are too. I have a girlfriend and she is so blue. Blue are the people here that walk around, Blue like my corvette, it's in and outside. Blue are the words I say and what I think. Blue are the feelings that live inside me. I'm blue da ba dee da ba die... Inside and outside blue his house With the blue little window And a blue corvette And everything is blue for him and himself And everybody around 'Cause he ain't got nobody to listen to I'm blue da ba dee da ba die... I'm blue (da ba dee da ba die)
