I’m okay with vlogging in the public. What messing me up is loud noise like a loud motorcycle or loud car noise. Sometimes it’s the airplane so loud.
@Gemini_Connect

Ugh, that’s a huge problem for me too, and one of the reasons why I often dislike filming outside. Over time, I’ve learned to listen for loud sounds and stop filming until they pass.

Thank you for this video. I also struggle with talking to the camera. I will have to rewatch this video multiple times. Also, I want to say your channel is one of the best channels I have found. You don't speak over my head; you speak to where I can understand it. We recently purchased the Osmo Pocket 3 with the DJI mic 2, and your videos have been a big help with different camera settings. Thank you so very much.

As an introvert, extrovert person, I really dont talk as much as I would like too. Im quiet and laidback. I tried of ralking to the camera in my car but when i studdered, or thinking of what to say, I cut the camera off and said "this aint gon work" 😂 I you guys as KZitemr inspires me to want to create content.

Hi there! I've been viewing your videos for gear and most of my KZitem equipment and I always believed you were a natural. So I appreciate this video you offered as I feel much better knowing someone like you had the same struggles! Thank you for sharing your experience and perhaps you're evolving and now can offer more videos like this, but please keep me up on new and improve equipment that makes our passion much more easy and efficient so we can provide our best work! Bye the way, Congratulations on your recent announcement! Wishing you and your family well...

Hey, great topic today. I can definitely relate to this video. Sometimes it takes me SO long to get comfortable in front of the camera when I’m trying to shoot a video, take after take after take. My wife says I’m too critical of myself or I sound too scripted. Still trying to find that right balance. Anyway, yes more videos like this please. P.S. I enjoy your tech videos also!✌🏾

Good video. I like the part about scripting. It is very important for anyone to get better at talking on camera. ALL news people use a teleprompter to deliver the news, so why would it be bad to do it for your vlogging channel?

I recently discovered your channel and it's pretty great. If you're looking for honest criticisms on this video I found it a little weird how you often said " talk TO Camera" instead of "talk to THE Camera".....I found you mixed both of those phrases but weren't consistent.

Yes please, more videos like this would be very useful and you're also very inspirational too, which also helps relax and give confidence. There are so many ways and things you can do tagging onto this video, you can do composition of photo/video, setting up equipment taking into account weather and location, you could also do effects techniques in post, etc. Most of all, I totally love your videos and have been a proud sub for quite a few years now. So I still enjoy comparisons, reviews, set ups, editing vlogs, I also love your presentation-style, it's very concise and relaxing. Keep up the fab work, thank you.

Thank you so much for this video. I've been publishing videos for the last 3 years, have 139 of them posted and still do not have enough views to reach the monetized threshold. My point is: watching your channel keeps me encouraged to keep going and to incorporate your points into my video creation. Thank you so much.

Love the tips. I started a secret vlog channel, mostly to make home videos of vacations for the memories and to share with family, and It is so weird to hear myself on camera and also makes me aware that I should speak up more. But I decided to try and get comfortable in front of a camera so it helps me on zoom calls esepcially when I need to present.

Thanks so much for this video! I fell into so many of those categories you discuss that keep me from making videos. I spent many months building a "set" and getting all the right equipment, getting the right clothes, then writing a perfect script, then getting more equipment (a teleprompter) to read the script... and then when I tried to make my first video, it was terrible! I was stiff, worried, robotic... and I've been afraid to try again. Your tips are a great reminder that we all start from scratch and learn as we go. I'm ready to try again!
