Hello. What about now? Is there any problem by far?

@kubadropek, it all looks very nice one year later and no problems to report. It reached full colour about a week after spraying and hasn't changed a lot since then.

Very nice you showing this! And a beautiful result, I may say. It´s a pity you didn´t let the viewers know what you´ve used to get the steel rusty.

Marguerite, thanks! - I am pleased with the result and I'm hoping it will be a practical, long lasting result too which won't need any painting or replacements for a very long time. I actually can't remember what I used for that job. I have used laundry bleach, pool chlorine, and vinegar and I can vouch for them all. I believe I may have used vinegar for a first coat followed by a very dilute pool chlorine mixture. I believe any kind of weak acid will have that effect on steel. I sprayed the acid mix off after about six hours and then kept wetting it every day because the air here in Canberra is very dry. Even if you don't spray at all, the normal acidity of rain (pH of about 5) will eventually bring on the rust, but it could be months or years depending on your climate.
