Spot cleaning is so important! I only had my piggies for a month and the day when I don't do a spot cleaning is the day the smell grows exponentially

You aren't alone in using bare hands for spot cleaning. I usually start with a dustpan and brush but almost always end up getting the stubborn hay and poops with my bare hands too. I personally find it easier. Doesn't take much to wash hands after. Love your videos 😁

There's nothing wrong with you doing your spot cleans bare handed. If thats what works for you then great. I use gloves for my own reasons, and that's okay too. Love the vid girl!

I’ve been watching your videos FOREVER! 💀 (I haven’t had my pigs all this time! They were in mommas tummy❤️) lol then born and had to be weaned. My friend works at a local petstore (a private business not a box store) and they accidentally had a litter. The owner is just going to give the babies to free homes ❤ and sell the mother as usual since it’s a small private shop and all the employees and some of the friends (me :) ) really wanted babies Guys! I get my pigs in 1 WHEEK 🤣 I’m so excited! I’ve been waiting 2 months ❤️ I have the same 2 level C&C you bought in one of your videos ❤️ Mochi and matchas C&C is all sushi themed 💀❤️ so pumped 1 more WHEEEK 😂😂😂

I also use my bare hands, which makes things so much easier. I'm always home so I spot clean a couple times a day. I like things to looks neat since I'm a little OCD. I'm sure my piggies couldn't care less. lol

Hi, I am new to your channel. About a month ago I brought three baby guinea pigs, they are about two months old. Their names a Peek-a-boo is a black and white long hair piggy, Sweetie-pie is a brown and white short hair piggy and Cuppy-cake is a brown, white and black long hair piggy. I am almost finished building their c&c cage. they will be moving out of their condo and into their Castle very soon. I just wanted to say hi and to let you know that I love all your videos, they have been very helpful in getting to know how to care for my three little babies.

I know you've mentioned you do residential (and maybe also commercial?) cleaning for a living... My mom was a professional residential / commercial property cleaner, too. She had a similar mindset and didn't like using gloves if she didn't absolutely have to for various reasons; being more easily able to feel the grit and grime without them being a big one. (I'm wondering if there's a business in cleaning up after (small) pets / pet lodgings, specifically. I think it takes a lot of extra steps and care beyond the typical cleaning regiment and this might be something you could pioneer - if there's a demand for it (and honestly, I think there might be). With your knowledge of cleaning and pet care I think you could train a team to make it quick, efficient, and safe. 🤔)

i always use my bare hands.. they get washed thoroughly afterwards so its all good; I'd rather waste soap than gloves that can't be recycled. quick spot clean in morning, full spot clean and pee pad changes in evening here.. and sometimes a quick poop pick before afternoon veggies if it's extra 💩

same about hay splinters my room is carpet flooring and I've been wanted to pull it up and get just wood flooring but to make it easier to vacuum I just use my hands to put the hay in piles and pick it up and put it in a trash back and I get so many splinter one time I got one so deep and it hurt to bad I pulled it out and I started bleeding it sucked but I'm stupid and stubborn and refuse to wear gloves because its just easier to use my hands lol

not sure, if u will read this, but i have a big question - since u have had a skinny pig - did u see any difference between his and others` poops? not sure why, but i think that skinnies have bigger (and also more, which is logical), thx for opinion :)

Should I change my guinea pigs bedding to paper bedding because I have chopped up wood chip that say for small animals and my dad won't let me use fleece

It depends on which type of wood you have. Pine that IS NOT kiln dried, or cedar is poisonous to them. Aspen is fine.

Well maybe it's just her personnality, maybe she's rlly shy. And even if you can't cuddle her as much as you would want to, you have to respect this personnality trait. Have a nice day☀️
