great tips :) Just a warning about taking vitamins - you can in fact over dose and it can cause kidney and liver disease. Taking a single vitamin isn't bad but careful when you start adding multiple. Rather consult a doctor first if you suspect you have a deficiency.

I really enjoyed the video the tips were excellent - except for the "Vit Tip". Most of the time the minerals and vitamins included in multi products block their absorption e.g. zink and iron or are not combined in the needed ratio (Mg and Ca). So, yes, please do yourself a favour and see a doctor. It might be cheaper and healthier in the long run...

Great video! I use honey and maple syrup when baking instead of white granulated sugar for a year. But I've been confused lately because I heard that your body processes sugar and those natural sweeteners the same. Even though its lower GI speaking, not sure how it's healthier unless you're doing in moderation.

Do you recommend working out in the morning or night? Also, for how long (30 mins or more) and how many days should I start working out for since I am a begginer at the gym? Thanks.
@BodyByBoss
6 жыл бұрын
Any exercise is better than none! So squeeze it in when you can. However, that said, I prefer morning exercise because it awakens your body and gives you a clear mind for the rest of the day's tasks. Sometimes working out too late at night can keep your body and mind awake, which will interfere with your sleep. In regard to working out as a beginner, if you want to work out via lifting, I recommend starting with 3 days per week about 30-45 mins. If you want to work out more days per week, maybe do 15-20min sessions 5 days per week. When you are starting off, its really about just getting into the rhythm of workout out as a lifestyle, its not about seeing major results right away. Once you find what works for you than you can increase the intensity! Hope this helped!! xox
@JenniferGeorghiou
2 жыл бұрын
Hi, I don't know if this is still relevant for you, but I would recommend to start slow 15 min. a day for 5 days a week plus make sure you warm up and stretch after every workout. On the other days go for a walk or do some deep stretching to improve flexibility. Work yourself up to 30 mins I love full body workouts, because I feel like they are more balancing for my body instead of splitting, but do what feels right and good to you. Movement should be fun not torture. :)

@HealthNutNutrition

Im not a big fan because of the after taste and sometimes it can be super processed. For instance stevia isnt natural white its green from a plant. So if you are buying stevia make sure its a good clean brand.

I'm 5'4" and 115-ish pounds. I've officially gained the "freshman fifteen." It's ridiculous! This is the highest weight I have ever been. I'm vegan, but still so out of shape, acne prone, dry-skinned and squishy. I've been starting to eat only vegetables and fruits as well as doing yoga and workouts. I'm trying my hardest to get toned and thinner by summertime, but it's hard! Do you have any advice?
@britanysutton7569

lemonbrownie I'm a personal trainer and I hope I'm not "budging in" but she might not be able to get back to you and your comment stood out to me. You need more protein and healthy fats in your diet. Fruit and veges alone will not do it. And she mentioned exercise. That's super important. Weight lifting and HIIT cardio are my favorite methods. Hope this helps (:
@HealthNutNutrition

Hey there! Im sorry to hear you are struggling right now with all of this. I think its important to make sure you are getting a variety of foods and not just veggies and fruit. Too much sugar can actually lead to breakouts. Also 115 lbs for being 5'4 is not heavy.. Im 5'4 and weight closer to 125 but I also do weights so a lot of it is muscle. Just remember to get moving everyday or at least 3-4 times a week, remove processed foods and get a variety of whole foods and not just veggies and fruit. hope that helps ;)

But "natural" sugars are still sugars, aren't they? It's true that they're not as processed as, say white sugar, but that doesn't mean they're healthy. It affects the body in pretty similar ways than sugar, which is to say it isn't very healthy...
@jostewart3192
5 жыл бұрын
That’s why you should have 2 (?) fruits a day. Fruit does have a ton of natural sugars in them, but just like everything else, in moderation it’s okay. Processed sugars are different. Your body can’t process (hah) it as easily as natural sugars, most of the time it doesn’t have any other nutritional benefits like fruit does, and it has chemicals and added ingredients that aren’t healthy for your body. People shouldn’t be scared of sugar, they should just moderate it.
