That very last little zinger there Robert is like one Mike Bloomfield use to use all the time and I learn it and forgot it and was thinking about it the other day thanks for gettin me back in there ,, Clayton has one thats the first 4 notes and he slurs one of the notes to the point you take the skin off your third finger trying to get it right HAHA

Is the fret buzz (at this level) normal in this video? I can hear it not from the sound of the guitar, maybe from your mic recording
@Dolphinstreets
6 жыл бұрын
It depends on the action. I lowered it a bit to make it easier to play, and that can lead to some fret buzz sometimes. I don't notice a lot of buzz, but if I do, I raise the action a bit.
@AndrewSidarta24
6 жыл бұрын
Ah i see. Do you think the string action related to strings bending?. Cos I find my 1st string is harder to bend (whole tone) than 2nd and 3rd string.
@Dolphinstreets
6 жыл бұрын
Yes, bending can lead to buzzing issues if the action is low. The radius of the fretboard affects this too.

I’ve spent years neglecting scales and solos while working on chords and rhythm. I love this lesson - but I can’t remember it all in one chunk. I’ve noticed it works for me to break it down into licks that end on the root - and thinking of them like: 451 54321 23421 And (usually) applying vibrato on the root, and glissando in the usual places. Works for me anyway. Thank you so much.
