I liked no 3 the best. Loved seeing how you develop the start of a song from a simple loop. Very beginner friendly thank you.

Dig em all Forest good stuff man! Thank you for sharing. I especially like the first track with the keys and the low-pass. Got a sweet verse vibe. But then again, I am partial to a good 12-string! Have a good one man. -Johnny

Forest - I am new to producing, and this was helpful. Your channel at this point is criminally under-viewed! You made me realize that I am not holding up my end of the deal on production because I need to go to my creative sessions with more ideas and should be building track starts and new ideas ALL THE TIME. This was motivating and will help take some pressure off my artists to always be the ones coming up with ideas. Thank you so much!

@@forestwhitehead Anytime. Always interesting and well-produced content. Just out of curiosity what scales do you usually work with? Like do you stick to pentatonic with diatonic chords? Do you just use Chromatic but use those things as general rules? Or do you just go with what sounds good? I started learning a little bit about chromatic mediants and just started moving away from the pentatonic scale a little bit and going by ear. I know these things aren't really necessary but just wondering.

Hey. Good stuff you're doin, thnx! Just wanted to know if you know about the "smart quantize" function in LP that let you quantize but keep flams? I use it all the time to keep som flams and "played" feel! =)
