Conversational skills for kids with autism are on a very complex level that will take some time and practice. While many parents dream of the day that they can have full conversations with their kids, autism conversational skills need a ton of assessing and programming to excel. In this video I discuss some examples of how complex this skill really is, as well as provide some tips to start teaching conversational skills to children with autism. It’s also important to note that before a child can even start learning conversational skills, they would need to have mastered a number of other autism skills first.
