Good video BUT very bad camera positions. One second I was looking at the side of the machine, then just millisecond I was looking in front of her, watching her do the stitch and ditch and not letting me observe how the stitch goes till the end. Didn’t even give me a chance to process

I don't get it. You do not sew the waist band on the right side, but it is attached to the fabric?

Does the stitch actually catch the waistband on the right side, or only on the under side?

Man, you were using a special presser foot to do it precisely. I wish you could tell us what that foot is!
@puretabby

+Aaron 阿阮 It's a normal straight stitch foot that is more secure in grabbing fabric as compared to those with wider holes. Since it's only a small hole for the needle to go through, you can't use zig zag stitches with it.

It's called an Edge joining/stitch in the ditch foot. This tutorial tells you how to do it with a normal foot. It is strange how an expert would have the tools that help.
